Jet Airways Signs an Agreement With United Airlines

Jet Airways and United Airlines signed an agreement for a code-share on the route London-Mumbai-San Francisco, operated with aircraft of the first domestic carrier of India. This partnership follows the cooperation with American Airlines, that through New York- JFK hub which offers many connections to passengers coming from the route India-Europe-Usa.

Meanwhile, the consolidation of Jet Airways is going on also on the domestic market, after the purchase of Air Sahara, now it's the turn of JetLite, with which the carrier signed a code-share agreement. Passengers have now a better network in India, with easier connections.

During the months October-December 2008, the carrier had a turnover of 628 million dollars, more than 21 per cent on the same period of 2007, the year in which Jet Airways started its operations in August.

The Indian airline chose Brussels as European hub - an agreement with Belgian carrier, Brussels Airlines, allows to feed the aircraft leaving for Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, New York and Toronto.
